- Try format it via dos prompt, if using Vista at "Start Search" type cmd and at dos prompt type format:k "or whatever your usb stick drive letter is"

Formatting 400gb usb stick
One friend just bought 400gb usb stick, it is in RAW format. He tried to format it but failed. My suggestion :
